Corporate team-building events are a proven
way to improve employee morale, as well as communication
and performance.
We put your employees into an unfamiliar environment
where they must build a team, communicate precisely
and develop team buy-in, all within the time
constraints of a yacht race.
The skills learned at a RegattaPRO regatta
are necessary to the continued growth of your
organization, and are directly transferable
to your employees' day-to-day job functions.
Before going out on the water, employees are
given classroom training on sailing theory and
yacht racing tactics. On the water, each team
is paired with a professional skipper to familiarize
them with the boats and assist them during the
regatta. After the regatta, we review what was
learned, how to transfer this knowledge, and
finish with an awards ceremony.
RegattaPRO started as and continues to be
a source of United States Sailing Association
certified "PRO's" (Principal Race Officers),
who are contracted out to yacht clubs all over
the country to run their officially sanctioned
sailing regattas from club dinghy races, to
national and Olympic pre-trial events. No other
team-building organization can claim that kind
of expertise. These are real yacht races, run
by real race officers, held under real yacht
racing conditions.
